It was a birthday celebration, a camping trip...and a film scout. It's a weekend with a lot of good memories. And if I'm being 100% honest, this weekend probably wasn't as good as I remember it.
But it sparked something. It sparked a need for the outdoors. It sparked a need to get away for a weekend. We escaped a crazy month, a crazy semester, and we promised not to talk about capstone, or school, or work.
And we went into the desert. And I cannot express how much I love the fucking desert. It's so beautiful. And I miss it. But anyway, we explored the rocky cliffs of Box Canyon, slept under a full moon, and ate charred burritos.
I won't forget this weekend.
